Michael Copelli is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day software development operations at MD Logic’s corporate headquarters. As the key leader within the development team, Michael works closely with company managers, software engineers, and support staff to help drive innovation and ensure the continued advancement of the MD Logic healthcare technology platform.

Raised in Georgia, Michael attended Auburn University where he earned a degree in software engineering. Shortly after graduation, he joined MD Logic in 2008 and began working under the direct supervision of longtime development leader Dave Castles. During his early years with the company, Michael gained extensive experience in all aspects of software engineering, architecture, product development, and healthcare technology integration.

Over the years, Michael has played an important role in the growth and evolution of the MD Logic software platform. He is heavily involved in the development and certification efforts for for all ONC certification initiatives. His leadership and technical expertise helped guide the engineering team through critical development milestones while ensuring MD Logic remained at the forefront of healthcare technology compliance and innovation.

Michael enjoys working directly with the MD Logic support team and corporate trainers and values feedback from customers and staff when developing new software features and workflow enhancements. His passion for engineering intuitive, efficient healthcare solutions continues to help shape the future direction of the MD Logic platform.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and their dog "Maverick". He is an avid snow skier, has ran the Peachtree road race multiple times and is a passionate fan of the Auburn Tigers, frequently returning to Auburn to attend football games and support his alma mater.
