MD Logic, the leader in high performance EMR/EHR technology today announced that it’s EMR/EHR received the federal government’s “meaningful use” stamp of approval by earning Complete EHR Ambulatory Certification as a complete EHR by the Drummond Group. The Drummond group is an authorized testing and certification body (ATCB) of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

Duluth, Georgia - July 26, 2011 - MD Logic, the leader in high performance EMR/EHR technology today completed EHR testing with the Drummond Group.

MD Logic, the leader in high performance EMR/EHR technology announced today that it has scheduled a test date in July with the Drummond Group to complete EHR testing and earn Government Certification. The Drummond group is an authorized testing and certification body (ATCB) of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

The MD Logic software development team has taken on the challenge of designing e-prescribing software that will actually save doctors time. This new innovative software will become the industry standard when doctors choose to use e-prescribing to write their prescriptions.

Laura Pruett, Director of Corporate Operations for MD Logic said “the MD Logic User Conference will held on a Friday and Saturday to minimize the time our physicians, administrators, managers and staff will need to be away from their medical clinics. The dates for the conference should be finalized next week and will either be held August 19th - 20th or August 26th -27th in Atlanta.

Starting this summer health care providers utilizing the MD Logic World Wide EMR™ will be able to offer their patients 24/7 access to their health records.

An extensive search of the 459-page Continuing Resolution that cuts more than $38 billion from the federal government's fiscal 2011 finds no reductions in health information technology programs funded under the HITECH Act.

The annual meeting was held March 24th - 26th in National Harbor Maryland. Physicians were introduced to the latest time saving technology offered by the MD Logic Corporation.  

MD Logic, Inc., developer of the MD Logic World Wide EMR™ officially joined the Health Level Seven (HL7) International Organization. Health Level Seven International (HL7) is the global authority on standards for interoperability of health information technology with members in over 55 countries.

During the three day meeting in Fort Lauderdale (March 9th, 10th, 11th) Foot and Ankle Surgeons from across the country were introduced to MD Logic v5.0 software. Typically foot and ankle surgeons are in high demand and run a very busy clinic day. A busy day in clinic leaves little time to document care. However MD Logic excels in speed and enables the doctors to generate quality documentation during the patient visit in the exam room.

During the three day meeting in San Diego (Feb 16th, 17th, 18th) the MD Logic sales team met with over 100 Orthopaedic Clinics from across the country. Bill Hurdle, Regional Manager for MD Logic stated “the AAOS turned out to be one of the busiest Orthopaedic shows in years. We had Orthopaedic Clinics from all across the country stop by the MD Logic booth to learn more about what makes MD Logic so special.
