MD Logic, Inc Receives ONC-ACB Certification by Drummond Group “PRESS RELEASE” (Friday May 30, 2014 / Atlanta, Georgia) -- MD Logic, the leading U.S. provider of High Performance Electronic Health Records Solutions has been tested and certified under the Drummond Group's Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program. This EHR software is compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S.

MD Logic, the leading U.S. provider of High Performance Electronic Health Records Solutions, is pleased to announce we have completed our third and final test required to earn ONC 2014 certification. Now that ONC 2014 testing has been successfully completed by MD Logic, the test results will be reviewed by a governing board with the Drummond Group and gain final approval. Once final approval has been authorized, MD Logic will officially earn our ONC 2014 certification.

The tests to earn ONC 2014 certification, the testing is broken down into three separate testing dates. During these test dates companies are provided up to (8) hours each day to demonstrate specific features and outcomes to prove their software is in full compliance with the ONC 2014 guidelines.

The conference will center around the ONC 2014 requirements and educating our customers on how these requirement have been engineered into the latest MD Logic EHR software.

The Senate voted 64-35 to pass a House-approved measure that would delay a scheduled 24% cut to Medicare physician reimbursement rates and push-back the ICD-10 compliance deadline to 2015. The bill is expected to be signed by the president this coming week.

At the recent AAOS conference held in New Orleans MD Logic introduced our latest smart phone technology to physician customers that stopped by our booth. At the same time, physicians looking to replace their existing EHR were introduced to our smart phone apps and MD Logic.

As trends in the U.S. reach their highest level to date in requiring healthcare providers to collect patient data, the bar will be further raised with the mandate in requiring the adoption of ICD-10 codes beginning in October 2014. It is one thing to provide ICD-10 codes to our customers but an entirely different quest to provide a robust and yet easy to use ICD-10 application to our customers.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has extended the deadline for Medicare EHR Incentive Program reporting attestation. CMS is extending the deadline for eligible professionals to attest for meaningful use for the Medicare EHR Incentive Program 2013 reporting year from 11:59 pm ET on February 28, 2014 to 11:59 pm ET March 31, 2014.
